Help

Answers about syncing activity, recording walks, changing your goal and managing a subscription.

My steps aren’t showing

Open iPhone Settings, choose Privacy & Security, then Health, and make sure 10K Steps can access Steps and Walking + Running Distance. Reopen the app afterwards. Apple does not tell apps when read access is off, so 10K Steps cannot always show which setting needs to change.

Can I change my goal?

Yes. Open Settings in the app and choose your daily step goal. 10,000 is the signature goal, but you can choose a number that works for you.

Daily steps vs. a walk

Your daily total keeps counting all day. A dedicated walk is a separate session with its own timer, steps, distance, pace, and optional route.

Why didn’t my route record?

Route recording needs Location access while you use the app. Make sure it is enabled in iPhone Settings and that route recording is switched on before starting the walk.

How do challenges work?

Your eligible activity is added automatically. You can browse or pin a challenge, but you do not need to tap “start” before your steps count.

Manage a subscription

Open iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Choose 10K Steps to view, change, or cancel your App Store subscription.
